Bryan Batson, MD

Bryan Batson, MD, will serve in the small/medium group slotted seat for the Integrated Physician Practice Section (IPPS) Governing Council at the American Medical Association

The IPPS is a member interest group within the AMA for physician leaders in physician-led integrated systems. The section governing council is responsible for directing the IPPS effort at the national level to demonstrate the value of physician-led, coordinated systems of care. 

Dr. Batson is an internal medicine-pediatrics physician with a specialty in clinical hypertension. He has practiced medicine with Hattiesburg Clinic, MS for 19 years, holding numerous physician leadership positions and is currently chief executive officer, the first physician to hold that position, at Hattiesburg Clinic.
