Integrated Physician Practice Section (IPPS) leadership opportunities

UPDATED . 2 MIN READ

The Integrated Physician Practice Section (IPPS) is committed to providing a learning environment where physicians from physician-led, integrated organizations can network and learn from each other, and share their experience with physician leaders moving toward integration.

The Integrated Physician Practice Section offers a number of opportunities to get involved, network and enhance your leadership skills.

IPPS representatives bring the perspective of their integrated practices to the IPPS. Currently, more than 50 organizations (PDF) from across the country are represented in the section. Become an IPPS representative by submitting the certification form.

The IPPS Governing Council provides strategic direction to the section and oversees the section’s programs and activities.

All governing council seats are open for re-election at the IPPS Annual Meeting, June 9, in Chicago, Illinois.

The IPPS Governing Council meets live three times a year: in June and November in conjunction with the AMA Annual and Interim Meetings; and in late summer for a leadership retreat. The governing council meets virtually at various times throughout the year as needed.

The deadline for applications (PDF) is May 1, 2023. For more information, please contact Carrie Waller at [email protected].

The Integrated Practice Physician Section Policy Development Committee (PDF) is charged with strategizing how the section can influence AMA policy on issues relevant to its constituents. IPPS members interested in serving on the committee should contact Carrie Waller at [email protected].
