Theresa Rohr-Kirchgraber, MD

Theresa Rohr-Kirchgraber, MD, a professor of medicine and clinician educator on the faculty of Augusta University/University of Georgia Medical Partnership, holds the position of at-large representative on the Minority Affairs Section Governing Council at the American Medical Association.

The MAS is a member interest group within the AMA dedicated to addressing the issues and concerns of underrepresented minority physicians and improving the health of minority populations.

Dr. Rohr-Kirchgraber graduated from California State University, Long Beach, and Weill College of Medicine at Cornell University, training as an internist at University Hospitals of Cleveland. Leadership positions have included the first Hispanic president of the American Medical Women’s Association (AMWA) and the Dissemination and Implementation Steering Committee for the Women’s Preventive Services Initiative with the American College of OBGYN. Dr. Rohr-Kirchgraber is passionate about the need for increased diversity in health care. Her clinical expertise is in primary care for adults and adolescents, especially those with chronic conditions.
