The AMA invites medical students, residents and IMGs to submit an abstract for presentation at the AMA Interim Meeting Poster Showcase on Friday, Nov. 6, 2026. The Poster Showcase will take place during the 2026 Interim Meeting of the AMA House of Delegates at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort in Orlando, Florida.

The 2026 AMA Interim Poster Showcase will be held in conjunction with AMA Career Resources. Grow your career and expand your professional network, Friday, Nov. 6, from 2:30-5:30 p.m. in Atlantic Hall C.  Learn more.

Call for abstracts is closed: Final decisions will be communicated no later than Oct. 6, 2026.  This AMA member-exclusive opportunity provides medical students, residents, and IMGs a platform to showcase their research. Space is limited. 

The 2027 AMA Annual Poster Showcase abstracts will open in November 2026.

Interim Meeting call for judges: The AMA is seeking physician judges to provide feedback and submit scores for medical student and resident presenters at the AMA Poster Showcase on Nov. 6. This is a one-hour time commitment and is eligible for CME. Sign up today!

Key dates & requirements

  • AMA member-exclusive benefit
  • The primary author must be the presenting author and is required to attend the Poster Showcase..
  • Final decisions will be communicated by Oct. 6, 2026.
  • Poster participant directory material deadline: Oct. 23, 2026.
  • Showcase times:  Friday, Nov. 6, 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Eastern at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort.
  • One presenter per poster.
  • Maximum poster size: 36"H x 42"W.
    • Participants are responsible for printing their own poster.
    • Posters that exceed the maximum size will not be allowed to present.
